Vision

An inclusive, empowered society where persons with blindness enjoy equal access to education, employment, and a dignified life.

Mission

To catalyze welfare, rehabilitation, and empowerment through education, awareness, advocacy, and capacity‑building in collaboration with government, private, and civil society partners.

Objectives of the Organization

  1. Collaborate with organizations and individuals working for persons with disabilities in the district.
  2. Uplift and support blind individuals across Satara district.
  3. Implement blindness prevention and promote scientific research and treatment.
  4. Facilitate academic and vocational education opportunities.
  5. Enable rehabilitation through employment, healthcare, and post‑illness recovery.
  6. Connect with public and private institutions for jobs and entrepreneurship.
  7. Train social workers and volunteers to work effectively with the blind.
  1. Maintain a library of Braille, audio, and accessible educational content.
  2. Support researchers undertaking studies on blindness.
  3. Assist families dependent on a blind individual.
  4. Raise public awareness via lectures, exhibitions, seminars, and conferences.
  5. Run complementary programs aligned to our goals.
  6. Publish a magazine on blindness and disability issues.
